What’s covered in our PPi?

Our mobile pre-purchase inspection includes over 50 high-resolution pictures and videos, thoroughly covering every aspect of the car’s exterior, interior, VIN, under the hood and the undercarriage. This includes everything from body panels and glass to the tires, engine bay, suspension, drivetrain, brake pads, rotors and more.

We diligently search for any signs of damage, leaks, rust, rodent nesting and evidence of poor quality previous repairs. We conduct a scan of the onboard computer for fault codes. We inspect the oil and transmission fluid levels and quality, test coolant quality brake fluid condition. We inspect the engine, undercarriage, suspension, brake components and gauge tire condition + measure tread depths.

We test comfort and convenience features to ensure they’re functioning normally.

Our PPi also includes starting, idling, and test-driving the vehicle with a keen ear for abnormal sounds and a feel for signs of potential issues.

Every finding is carefully documented, supported by close-up pictures and/or videos, accompanied by detailed descriptions, and the iNeedaPPi condition score out of 100.

We also include a detailed list of recommendations broken down by urgency, with estimated costs to repair.
